Brightlane Partners Adds Nancy LaFoy As Managing Director
Atlanta, GA (October 17, 2016) – Brightlane Partners today announces the addition of Nancy LaFoy as a Managing Director. Ms. LaFoy has acted as an independent consultant to Brightlane Partners during the past two years and now joins in a new role to assist in mergers and acquisitions, regulatory filings, strategic planning, and de novo charters.
Ms. LaFoy brings nearly 40 years of regulatory and commercial banking experience to the firm. She began her career with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta spending seven years in bank regulation before moving on to Wachovia Corporation, formerly First National Bank of Atlanta, as an Assistant Vice President. In 1987 she joined the consulting firm T. Stephen Johnson & Associates, Inc. and she has been a consultant to the financial industry ever since. During her time at T. Stephen Johnson & Associates she was responsible for a team that developed over 150 de novo bank applications. Ms. LaFoy also previously served on the Board of Directors for Florida Banks, Inc., a $1 billion bank in Jacksonville, Florida, where she chaired the Audit Committee.
Brightlane Partners will continue to concentrate on mergers and acquisitions, de novo charters, new bank formations, asset disposition, regulatory filings, and designing fee income products for banks under new leadership.
